Dr. Taki's practice is based on providing excellence in plastic surgery. What sets him apart from other plastic surgeons is the personalized care he provides to each patient. In addition, Dr. Taki is able to adapt each surgery to fit the individual patient's physical attributes and achieve the most aesthetically pleasing results. His warm and personable bedside manner allows his patients to feel comfortable, while his extensive background and training in the art of plastic surgery puts their minds at ease. Dr. Taki received Bachelors degrees in both Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Arizona, then went on to graduate from the University of Arizona College of Medicine (Go Wildcats!). He moved to Phoenix, Arizona and completed his general surgery training in the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency program. Dr. Taki's plastic surgical training was completed after a two-year fellowship at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Taki is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Board of Surgery. He is a Diplomat of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and is a Member of the American Society for Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Taki is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Taki has been practicing plastic surgery in Tucson, Arizona since 2001. His practice focuses on cosmetic surgery with procedures including facial rejuvenation; eyelid, nasal, and ear surgery; breast surgery, including breast augmentation, lift, reduction, correction of asymmetry, and gynecomastia; as well as body contouring procedures including liposuction and abdominoplasty. Dr. Taki also offers body contouring procedures after massive weight loss, including complete body lifts, arm and thigh lifts, and removal of excess skin. In addition, he offers laser skin rejuvenation and non-surgical options including Obagi® medical skin care, Botox®, and facial fillers.
